My experience with Stratus Prep has been good. Most of my applications were not successful but that is a result I believe of the schools I chose. Shawn treated me with the utmost respect and offered to work with me on round two schools or a reapplication strategy and even offered test prep to ensure my success.
If I had to do it again, I would definitely work with them.

First and foremost, I got dinged from all four of my schools.
This is my profile:
Package: 4 schools (~$6800)
Schools Applied: HBS, Stanford, Kellogg, Wharton
Undergrad Major: Engineering
Work experience: Big 4 Consulting, 5 years
Volunteer experience: Yes
Had extracurriculars?: Yes
At first, I thought Stratus was fine. They assign you to someone, and my first guy was really unresponsive, so I requested him to be changed. So they gave me a new guy who was really awesome. Coordinating with them in meetings was a disaster generally, with them cancelling or trying to make me meet when I was really busy.
Stratus is good for only one thing: essays. My guy was really good at helping me come up with a good story and helping with essay edits. I will not deny that.
However, do not expect too much help anywhere else whether its recommendations or video essays. I was told that I had a good profile, and that I had a solid story to at least get in somewhere, but I didn’t even get interviewed at Wharton, Kellogg, and Stanford (Kellogg interviews everyone). I know these are hard schools to get into, but considering that I didn’t get one other interview makes me question the value-add of this company.
To close, they are good for essays, the guy assigned to me was very cool and awesome, but they aren’t much help elsewhere. I feel like they don’t help you holistically on the application. I would recommend checking out another company or asking friends to help you for free haha.
Good luck on the admissions process!
